Hey guys,
I was hoping to see many of you at winter league a few weeks ago, but of course it was canceled the weekend I was in town.
In case you dont know, my father recently had a stroke, and it's left him pretty limited in his functional abilities. Because of this, he has moved into a friend's house while he's recovering. I'm hoping that he will be able to live again on his own after 3-6 months (hoping). In the meantime his house is for rent. Do any of you know anyone that would be willing/able to rent his house? It's a great location, near college and dickson (by the old library). $400/mo. plus half the utilities.. has washer, dryer, living room, dining room, kitchen, large bedroom, small bedroom.
If anyone has ANY ideas at all, please let me know. Also, I have a new cell phone number: 202-422-2677
really appreciate it, and hope to see you guys soon,

At this point I'm looking at just renting it on a month to month basis, as that seems to make the most sense. But in all honesty, it would depend more upon the individual person renting..
Like I said, ideally my dad will be able to live independently again within 3 months or so .. this seems a bit doubtful, but possible.
However even if my dad did become functional again, if the person renting required 4 months, for example, that could certainly be arranged. |

Has your dad's place been rented yet? A co worker and her husband are looking for a place, they do have 1 dog, and are looking for a 6 month lease, they are planning on buying a house, so it might be less than 6 months.
She is a neat freak and I can vouch for them as respectabel people.
Anyway if it's still available I will let them know the info.
Address and contact person.
Thanks
Kellie
