Has anyone been to Billy's Blues Club on Razorback? Does it have potential? I saw that they serve BBQ.

I've been to the Wet Pig. I don't know if Billy's Blues is a new addition to the same place or a completely redesigned place or what, but I will kindly say that what I experienced was not that great, food, beer, price, or location-wise. It might be worth it if you're going to a baseball game, but that's it.

I'm driving to Arkansas on Tues. I've got a place for November, but I'll be looking for a place and a roomie later too.

The blues bar sounds awful. I'm gonna take some scrumtralescent cats and see if anything's changed since you went, Evan. Surely by now they've had a rude awakening and made some good beer deals...

I will also come out of retirement to confirm that Fix is the best club in Fayetteville, and further to add that blues music is total snore-town. I can respect its contribution to pop music via heavy influence, but classic delta blues is booooooring. You are way too young to be listening to Friday night KUAF material.

At least you are not listening to skinny jeans indie rock, though, 'cause that shit is in its death throes; its worse to be listening to old, but boring music than relatively new, but quickly-going-out-of-style (if not having already done so completely) music . Dance music is the movement.

Does coming out of retirement involve dancing your pants off with me? Ill tell you whats worse than booring music- some flabby asses.

Ill tell you whats even worse than flabby asses- people that dont like to dance.

I think were on common ground here.

Have you heard of Group Doeh? Its a combination of blues and dance worlds. I bet you could cut this with something else and it wouldn't be as much of a rude awakening for dancers here- it'd be dance magic.

RIP indie rock. RIP indie folk. RIP Nickelback. The world is a better place. Don't come back.
