We're going to have the largest girls teams turnout ever. I believe 6 teams instead of 3 the years past.

The Brightside girls are - in typical girl fashion - indecisive and unable to communicate whether or not they'll be attending.

Darkside is going though!

you think you have an argument april? I think it's obvious that men in ultimate are indecisive and unable to communicate whether or not they'll be attending half the time... and girls are that way ALL the time.

last time i dealt with flakey ultimate players at a tournament was GRUB. I actually asked several Darkside players to play with me. Maybe 1 responded to tell me they couldn't go. 3 college players said they'd play and backed out last minute, one was a girl, TWO were guys.

I also played on an all women's competitive team this year and dealt with minimal flakiness.

Calling it an argument gives too much credit to the statement. You should have asked if he really wanted to start this lesson.

The simple fact that Casey is supporting this erroneous and damaging stereotype says volumes.

April, I applaud you for speaking out.

Jody says these things cause he's pussy whipped ... by everyones pussy.

April sorry women are more flaky... if women weren't more flaky then why is mixed usually 5-2 or in some rare cases 4-3... because women come out and never show back up... you're all flaky. You're baseing your opinion on asking high school kids to travel to Colorado for a tournament... of course they aren't going to show up and them not answering your email doesn't make them flaky it just means they don't care to go or that you shouldn't ask them next time... and yes i'm sure it was 2 college guys and 1 college girl who backed out, why don't you look at the number of guys to girls you asked though... i'm sure you'd find a disproportionate number of guys to girls you asked.

In the end women are more flaky i'm sorry... I hurt my foot or I have homework or I need to stay home this weekend are constant excuses from women to not go to tournament while many of our guys on the college mens team will go to tourneys when they have papers/tests monday morning or are suffering from injury... you definitely won't find that on the womens team (outside of a select few who are in charge of the team)

....i'm right and you and jody are wrong

.... but in the end i'm wrong for tapping on the fish tank... i should have just let you all enjoy playing underwater!!

the co-ed numbers couldn't have anything to do with just less women ultimate players
....
and you're basing your opinion on the few women ultimate players that you've dealt with in this area, and based on the homework excuse, i'd say your basing it on college players who make up a small number of the women players around here

i'm not saying there aren't flakey women players, but i am saying there are not any less flakey guy players than women, i'm sure the percentages are pretty equal

I'm pretty flakey, but I'm also a bit of a woman. Also, I have heard a female ultimate player or two say that Ultimate girls are especially flakey.

Ben if you start apologizing for Casey you'll never have time to talk about anything else.
