sounds like they hired some hot-shot marketing consultant who gave them some bad advice.

Bad advice indeed. As a business owner*, I would honor the discount for the calendar year and keep a lot of frisbee dollars coming my way.

*not a business owner.

how are they sponsors if they don't offer us any discounts

btw, discounts are not sponsorships anyway

giving of product or service is a sponsorship...one way we have been a little lenient in the past.

did we get them to sign anything, because that sucks that they pull the plug while we still put them on the card.

frequent diner? thats bull shit as well

apparently they've stopped the discount for fda, but we haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet

Yeah, the owner was working the cashier, and I went up there (not thinking it was any big deal, I eat there for lunch like thrice a week) and asked for the discount, and he freaked out about the free drink and turned to the normal day manager and was like, "SINCE WHEN HAVE WE BEEN GIVING FREE DRINKS TO THE FDA?" It was awkward as hell.

I was in there the other day, talking to some other manager about it, and he told us that cashiers had always been trained to give free drinks to the FDA, and it's been that way for years, and that sometimes the owner can be a random douche.

So... my bad, guys. <3

i hate it when that happens, you try to be a good fayettevillian by supporting the local businesses...i know the restaurant business is no walk in the park, but if you can't stand the heat, get out of the burrito kitchen.

Frozen burritos at Wal-mart cost a solid 39 cents or so and are fucking sw33t. Best deal ever.
