star wars wouldn't have been as good if luke's home hadn't been destroyed...time to rise from the ashes! Smile

we will continue to improve, but it won't be easy with 5 players that have never played league before (or maybe once).

I played horrendously and Jody is momentarily out of shape. Jeff, Alex and Lmac played well, but Jeff wore out quickly being the only deep cutter on person who can guard anyone, but Matt will help with that next week, he doesn't have to be our panacea but having him will help immensely.

this week we will be more prepared...we'll need it.

I expected a sober and coherent retort from Jeremy.

I'm just glad Jody isn't permanently out of shape.

Agreed. It would be more groundbreaking if he were momentarily in shape.

We get it. And we are all really impressed by how little you care about league. So little, in fact, that you continue to comment about league. Now, will you let those of us who actually enjoy league do so without your vigilant, yet apathetic, oversight.

Round is a shape. One you should be familiar with.

L&F
I picked up two grey size M long sleeve tech shirts from the Holt exile fields. You can get yours on Sunday at the at the Hampton registration table (last week to register - recruit them newbs!)

and I still have your hat, Cory

A lesser known league fact:
Players can pick up for 1 Sunday with any team for free ($10 if they want a shirt). Only 1 week, they are not FDA members or tourney eligible.

Alright captains, now twist that to your advantage

The wider you are the better your mark. It's fact.

1. Vikki (4-0): Comfortable wins over weaker opponents in Week 2. I dont see Pink (Cameron) or Kiwi (Zo) giving the red team their first loss this Sunday.

2. Toby (4-0): Handed two teams their first loss each last week. I have a feeling this is a team that will be frustrating to play against, which is good for them. They seem pretty well drafted, and I look forward to their matchup with Michaels yellow team Sunday.

3. Levi (3-1): Im not sure how far Jacob will be able to carry this team, but I see him as their X-factor. His shots down field will have to be on for them to keep winning games. Hopefully Skinner is becoming more of a force on offense for them.

4. Michael (3-1): Frankly their 10-12 loss to JWills team was not as close as the score makes it seem. However, in a game where everything seemed to go wrong, Michaels yellow team still only lost by 2. Games against the #2 and #3 ranked teams Sunday will decide whether they still belong in this top tier of teams.

5. J-Will (2-2): I was always of the opinion that talent and athleticism trumps most any game plan, but Jodys good strategy sense certainly seems to make up for the white teams lack of both (apologies to Matt Jackson). That guy from Little Rock is better than most people probably realize. Is he a consistent attendee?

6. Lorenzo (3-1): I would not have predicted Zos team beating Cumbarges pretty pink extravaganza last week, and would be interested in some commentary on this game. Put up a fight against Vikkis red this Sunday, and the respect will start coming in.

7. Cameron (2-2): Two relatively close losses to teams ranked ahead of them this week. Earl skipping pick up just two days after going 0-2 is not a good sign. Has this team given up already? Nice face-d last week, April.

8. Terrell (1-3): Why wait until down 0-3 to sub in Stevie and Jeff for the first time? Maybe they just dont care about the regular season. Stevie and Evans strong showing at capture the flag is the only thing keeping the green team this high. Clearly they have some athleticism and sneakiness not yet fully utilized.

9. Jon Mills (1-3): Adding Hopwood and Mcgee was enough to take care of Crissys sky blue team, but not enough to hang with Vikkis red. Mills is cutting his visit to Lady Land short to make it back in time. If that doesnt inspire the Blue troops to victories over JWill and Terrell this week, nothing will. Bold prediction of the week: they pull it off.

10. Crissy (1-3): Congrats on the win last week guys, and welcome back Champagne.

11. Sadie (0-4): Expected 2-2 from this team at this point. Theyd be fairing much better if they could figure out how to win a close game. It will be a tall order to right the ship this week with games against #2 and #3 on the horizon.

12. Wayne (0-4): Fayettevilles only perfect 10 was not enough to give Waynes Purple Reign their first W. The favorable weather probably did no favors for these old timers. Ill predict they put one in the left column in harsher conditions this Sunday.
