I'll be making an egg nog. Also going by Harp's so will buy what egg nog is there. Post what you buy so we don't have too much of the same stuff. Someone needs to go by Braum's as well.

I bought Aldi nog (Friendly Farms). I may still make some of my own, but it won't be ready til 8.

2011 Results:

1st place with 59 points: king kharl&Marotta nog
2nd place with 60 points: Hiland
3rd place with 63 points: Bo nog
4th place with 65 points: LaFart nog
5th place with 66 points: Chocolate Rain nog
6th place with 74 points: Braum's
Last place with 80 points: Friendly Farms

We had 16 taste testers. I think everyone was a little biased towards homemade nogs, but Friendly Farms really wasn't good, the only nog to not get any 1st or 2nd place votes. Braum's got the most last place votes of all the nogs, but did have some people that liked it. My nog and Chelsea's nog were very similar, but the alcohol was a stronger taste in Chelsea's which I think hurt her a bit. Both our nogs had the most #1 votes with 5 a piece, Chelsea just got docked with 3 last place votes. Hiland wins again for the store bought...so suggest that to all your friends.

Thanks for letting us come over Champagne, Ramsey and Chelsea.

king kharl, mine was PURPLE RAIN nog, made with all powerful Acai berry juice. I'm sad you forgot, even though it looked brownish.
