I can't believe he won. They cheated. I'm dreaming. This can't be real. Our country is doomed.

We re-elected Hitler.

If you want to flee the country, seriously, call me (604-992-0027).

I will be dedicated tonight's drinking to the election, cheers to George! Some might think its four more years of eventual desctruction of the world, environment and the United States but at least he makes us laugh and I have it on a good source that he has been ordained by God so he has that going for him also. Just go drink syrup or whatever they drink in Canada Daniel and it will be ok.

I have it on the authority of an anonymous person I just passed on the sidewalk that Kerry has conceded.

ya know, since bush is back in office, he still has the chance to bring back the curse of those presidents elected in years ending in 0...

What curse is that? Also, Bush won Washington county. 56% to Kerry's 43% that makes me sad.

The Zero-Year Curse
every president elected in a yr ending in 0 since harrison (1840) has died in office...
Reagon did not, he lived through his attempted assassination...
either he was lucky and escaped the curse, or he broke it...we'll see...

I love you guys. I was going to create a post just like the one daniel did but I don't have to because all of you are hurting/pissed like me. I have this overwhelming feeling of empyness and littleness. My Anthropology class was pitiful; everyone was downhearted. One of the things that instantly crossed my mind and a couple of my friends' was "what if I or my friends get drafted to go to war?" What will we do? I'm told that now that someone is in office, whether it is who I wanted or not, I should support him. I can relate that to the commandment, "honor thy father and mother" with subtitles:even if you hate them and disagree with them, but I don't think that because he is my leader, I should support him. I don't agree with things that are happening. I don't want to be brainwashed that fighting is for a good cause, or I should do it because it's my duty as an American. It's not true that I'm not brave and noble if I don't fight or if I try to talk my friends out of fighting...fuck that. My friend said that he is a person before he is an "American" and not only is it natural for him to not want to kill other people but it is natural for him to want to spare his life; especially when the reason is for something that he disagrees with. It seems like I haven't felt a lot of the effects from the Bush Administration because, for the most part, I haven't had to support myself and I have been in a protected environment, college. I wonder how my life will be affected when I do leave college and feel the affects of the administration. I wonder if I will have to leave college earlier because of lack of funding or because of war. Maybe I'm fretting for no reason but , although I had a feeling the election would turn out this way, I got my hopes up and I feel like they are shattered. Maybe it is naive to think that things would have been better with anyone different, or that the majority of Americans would not be blinded and fall for personality...cheers, to youth and stupidity.

Here are the highlights/lowlights of the long version:
