If anyone hasn't been keeping up with World Cup action, check out this video.

"Le Hand of God" makes me want to fucking vomit. Soccer needs a instant replay.

Offside and two hand taps. Where was the line judge? The stupid part is if he had gone up to the ref and said, "Yes, I touched it" he would have been vilified by the French. Instead, he gets a hero's welcome.

BTW, what ever happened to playing through the play? Half the defense gives up right as he commits the first handball and immediately look to the ref.

Is he the goalie? I think it's ok for the goalie to touch it with his hands.

What about this, the device that is to solve 9 of the 10 most important mysteries in Physics has broken down because someone left a baguette in it. Only the French. This thing will never work.

People cheat to win in a sport where there are refs. That is part of the game and the most important reason to keep refs OUT of ultimate.

In sports where there are refs, every coach in the world will teach technique to bend or break the rules without getting caught. Offensive lineman in North American football illegally hold on pretty much every play. Old men at the rec center touch foul every play in basketball.

I wouldn't hate on Henry too much.

As a nosegaurd I used to grab the face masks of every center I played against. I never kept a nation's soccer team out of the world cup tournament because of it though. I feel like im making a point but im also drunk so maybe im not.

People cheat to win in a non-ref-ed sport and without someone to overrule it you must simple endure it.

I agree some do, but I don't. I would if there were refs though, and refs miss calls all the time, but you simply have to endure it. I don't see any difference except for the fact that less cheat now than would if we have refs and instead of being able to call some stuff, I won't be able to call anything.

Cheating is part of the game when there are refs...uh, agree to disagree. I guess cops are kind of like refs though, and I cheat to defy the rules they try to enforce quite a bit.

Ideally I wouldn't have to read a sentence four times in order to understand it.

yes...people cheat when refs are present and not, but much more often when refs are present. It is almost part of the game.

I was trying to make the point that we need to keep refs out of ultimate so it doesnt evolve into a sport where people cheat more and more.

If that is what you understood I was saying, then I am sorry for wasting your time with this post.
