First of all, I think Jody's team is the weakest (or is this a head game because my team plays them tonight?). Where's the definitive bigman? Who's going to guard the nick (the lesser welch bolen)/Brosh/Waxes of the world?

15 to 7. Lot of weakness from Loki. Guess the head game worked.

I was real happy with Abe's ability to cover Nick.

Just a few scattered comments:
1. Apologies to my team. Turns happen, but my single turnover (contested stall -> floated "to" Clay O/B) came at the beginning of Red's near-comeback. Definitely had me thinking for the rest of the game...

2. Didn't see a whole lot of the other game, but what I *did* see was Jwill dirt it a couple times, and Joe Bell miss more than a few hucks. Hope that was not a representative sampling.

3. Doug (on Red) is "Value Pick" of this draft.

Joe Bell, you should give being a full-time receiver glove wearing player a shot. I have known several top players who wear gloves all the time since they have sweaty hands. In fact, almost the entire Japanese national team always wears glove(s).

It takes a while to get used to throwing when wearing gloves but since your game is more about being fast and catching scores I think the transition will be minimal. Football receiver gloves are the grippiest you can buy, but if you want finger tip use I used to have some Lookfly gloves that I really liked.

This post is not a heckle. I am a fan of the Better Bell Brand since you now bleed for LS. In fact, if you will post your address and pay me for shipping ($5) I will send you my pair of old Under Armour receiver gloves.

Good Luck at ADA and with LS next year.

sometimes i wonder why people don't want to play ultimate in fayetteville...and then sometimes i don't

At least I've got no where to go but up.

*hat tip to Corey for making me work my butt off on O and D against him...still not sure when we hit the point where I was upgraded to be your matchup. Maybe its just a testament to the strength of Jody's line.

...looking forward to round 2 tonight!

I'll be insight into wonderful Irving, TX summer league if I don't die of heat stroke first. Wish me luck.

I'm probably captaining. If it's scrumtralescent I might pick you up as a darkhorse pick.

Sounds good. Jarrod Hockett is on me for going to Irving as well. I hope everything will be quiet enough to where I can come in as a bargain and my teams good enough to carry me through the championships Wink
